Brian (aka Branch), our official blues and swing dancer, is a developer lead always motivated to learn new things, who makes use of every opportunity to both teach and learn from his colleagues. He is particularly interested in information visualization, and developed his master thesis in relational formal methods in Computer Science at UBA.

Ary is a software craftsman, he is our guru in all code-related problems. Always teaching how to develop the best code with simplicity in mind, he makes everything seem easy no matter how difficult, to the point that nothing seems impossible with him on the team. Very optimistic (sometimes too much), he has the ability to put any idea into code in almost no time.

Lucila, or simply Lu to her friends, is our arts-major-to-be who gives the much-needed bohemian touch to Manas. Despite her young age, she is the mother to all of us, always with a smile and attentive to everyone’s needs. In her daily work at Administration, she is both profesional and responsible, and an excellent person and colleague.

Always focusing in end users’ needs, Martin is our VP in user experience. Besides staying on the cutting edge as regards new technologies, he is particularly interested in applications related to medicine and humanitarian aid, subject on which he is writing his master thesis in Computer Science at UBA.

Jorge is one of the main links in Manas between the clients and the development teams. Always attentive to the user’s needs, he has a distinctive skill to elicit their requirements and guide them to the most practical solutions. He also is an excellent manager, coordinating multiple teams at a time with no problems.

Designer and web programmer, Martin speaks both the languages of design and programming, bridging the gap between both worlds. He has the ability to implement any design proposal, no matter how extravagant, making use of the latest web standards. He is studying to be a professional chef in his free time.

Dev Lead & HR Manager

Santiago, also known as Palla, is a highly pragmatic dev lead, perfectionist and efficient, motivated mostly by back-end challenges. In Computer Science at UBA, he is known for being a hard TA to his numerical methods students. His preferred topic, and the subject of his master thesis, is linear programming and operations research.

A reserved fellow at first sight, Adrian is a great colleague, displaying a fantastic sense of humor once you get to know him. In Manas, he is a very responsible dev lead who always fulfils his goals. He shares with Palla the interest in linear programming and operations research in university.

Caro is passionate about her work. If she learns something new in the morning, by noon she is spreading the word about her new findings, and by the end of the day she has a strong opinion and deep knowledge of it. Responsible and hard-working, she also works outside Manas as a science popularizer for Computer Science at UBA, helping youngsters decide their future careers.

Our juggler, Pablo, is a programmer with great energy and a huge capacity to learn, always wanting to try new languages and technologies, dominating them in very little time. Besides his work in Manas, he is also a Computer Science teacher at UBA, passing his knowledge to his young students of numerical methods and algorithms and data structures.

Good hockey player and a great host to her guests, Clara is part of the administrative team, where she displays both her experience and warmth, who arrived to Manas through the recommendation of a close friend (of her and of us). Thanks to her studies and wide knowledge in Work Relationships, she is also working in the human resources area.

Expression, design and image, are just a few of the areas in which Jonathan displays his talent every day. Passionate about finding solutions that balance power and simplicity, he applies his skills to find the best solution for each particular case. Jonathan is the one who nourishes our project with the most beautiful designs, through the usage of graphics which transmit concepts difficult to describe in words.

Mariano is our object-oriented zealot. With a firm opinion on how to write the best code, he is an excellent and hard-work developer, always willing to share good practices from the world of OOP with his colleagues. He likes playing the bass and the piano in his free time, and he also practices water-skiing.

Valeria Tiffenberg

Vale’s first experience with web programming was as a teenager, when she taught herself HTML, CSS, PHP and Flash to develop a website for her mother, who is a children’s books writer. She has followed this path ever since by studying Computer Science at UBA, and joined Manas to put her knowledge to good use. She also enjoys juggling and practicing silks.
